Delivery Policy
If the leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc is in stock, your leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc will be dispatched for delivery within 7-10 working days from receipt of cleared funds. Your leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc will be handled by one of our experienced delivery teams and delivered to a room of your choice at ground floor level. Exceptions to this policy can be arranged, please contact us if you require your leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc more urgently.
If the leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc is to be specially manufactured, waiting times vary but as a rule please allow approximately 14 weeks from receipt of your 50% deposit unless otherwise stated. We will contact you approximately 3 weeks prior to scheduled delivery to enable you to settle the balance payment on your order.
Returns Policy
All leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc are quality checked prior to leaving our Suppliers’ workshops. They also all have a pre-delivery inspection at our warehouse prior to distribution. In the unlikely event that you inspect a leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc that is damaged please do not sign for or accept delivery of the leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc. The delivery driver will notify us immediately. In these circumstances we will contact you quickly to offer you a 100% refund or a replacement leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc, whichever suits you best.
You may return the leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc to us within 7 days from date of delivery. IMPORTANT: Please note that any leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc returned must not have been used and must be returned to our warehouse in the condition they were delivered. If a leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc is signed for it is deemed received in good condition. We do not accept "goods received, unchecked" as it is the receiver’s responsibility to check the leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc before signing.
Upon receipt of a returned leather sofa / settee / corner sofa etc the leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc will be inspected. Providing the goods are in perfect re-saleable condition a full 100% refund of the goods will be issued. The cost of delivery can not be refunded, the cost to return any leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc would be at the purchaser’s expense. Obviously, in the unlikely event that goods are delivered damaged the delivery charge is fully refundable or if an exchange item is chosen there is no re-delivery charge to the customer.
Please note that it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc ordered will fit into their property and that delivery refunds cannot be issued for failed deliveries in these circumstances. Furthermore, a charge will be made for return of leather sofas / settees / corner sofas etc to our warehouse.
Sofas supplied by Sofaitalia.co.uk carry a full guarantee for a preiod of 12 months from date of purchase to the original purchaser against defects in components, materials and workmanship. The guarantee excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, inappropriate use or care and repairs other than by Sofaitalia.co.uk or its agents. Sofaitalia.co.uk may repair any guaranteed item at its discretion. All claims should be made in writing. This guarantee gives no rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential losses or damages. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Refunds may be subject to a fee covering any costs incurred by the Company, such as administration fees, card fees, etc. N.B. The above terms and any warranties and/or guarantees only apply to furniture purchased for use in the UK mainland.
